Mike began his career as a commercial pilot, flying turboprops and light jets on regional routes. Recognizing his passion for teaching and mentorship, he transitioned into flight instruction, initially training new commercial and private pilots in simulator and in-flight settings. He later joined a leading business aviation operator as a Senior Flight Instructor, where he developed standard operating procedures, emergency response training, and recurrent proficiency programs for multi-crew operations.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked with a wide variety of aircraft, including Citation XLS, Phenom 300, Pilatus PC-12, and Gulfstream G150, providing both simulator-based and real-world training for pilots of varying experience levels. His structured approach ensures that all crew members are prepared for operational challenges, regulatory requirements, and high-pressure flight situations.
Mike has accumulated over 2,200 flight hours, primarily on light and midsize jets. His extensive experience spans single-pilot and multi-crew operations, IFR and VFR conditions, and long-range international flights. By actively participating in flight operations, he maintains firsthand understanding of pilot needs, aircraft performance, and training priorities, ensuring every program he develops is grounded in practical, real-world experience.

He develops personalized training plans, evaluates pilot proficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance for recurrent and type-specific training. His mentorship fosters confidence and skill in pilots while reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and passenger safety.
