With more than 15 years of experience in private and commercial aviation, Sophia Reyes oversees every aspect of flight operations, from crew scheduling and aircraft readiness to international flight planning and regulatory compliance. Known for her precision and proactive leadership, she ensures that every mission runs safely, smoothly, and on schedule.
Sophia began her aviation career as a senior dispatcher for a business jet operator in South America, where she coordinated international flight permits, routing, and operational logistics. She later joined a European charter provider as an operations manager, leading a team responsible for aircraft dispatch, weather monitoring, crew rest management, and real-time flight tracking.
Before stepping into her current role, she served as Head of Operations Planning for a long-range charter fleet, where she implemented digital dispatch systems, reduced turnaround times, and expanded partnerships with global handling agents and FBOs.
Her expertise includes both long-haul intercontinental missions and high-frequency regional schedules, giving her a rare combination of technical knowledge and operational awareness.
Although she is not a full-time pilot, Sophia holds a Commercial Pilot License and regularly flies as a safety pilot to maintain hands-on cockpit familiarity. She has logged over 680 flight hours, primarily on the Phenom 300, Citation CJ4, and Learjet 45, gaining practical experience in IFR operations, crew resource management, and international airspace navigation. This allows her to communicate effectively with pilots and make informed decisions during operational events, diversions, or weather-related challenges.
Sophia’s leadership philosophy is built on operational precision, crew support, and safety above all. She coordinates pilot training, manages scheduling systems, ensures compliance with international aviation regulations, and leads emergency response protocols. Under her direction, the company has achieved improved dispatch reliability, faster flight turnaround times, and seamless coordination between flight and ground teams.
Under his leadership, the company maintains a 99.8% on-time performance rate and consistently high client satisfaction.
Outside of aviation, Sophia enjoys competitive sailing, fitness, and mentoring young women entering STEM and aviation fields. She is passionate about promoting safety culture, advancing digital operations tools, and improving communication between ground teams and flight crews.
